Coruscant is a two-story, cross laminated timber (CLT) structure located in San Jose, California. The building is going to serve as an office building on both levels.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers will be providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering and design for the project in 3-Dimensional (Revit) modeling. The project is to deliver technology that is energy efficient and flexible for future tenants. The mechanical system proposed is a variable refrigerant volume, heat recovery air conditioning system coupled with energy recovery ventilators. The source for domestic water heating is a heat pump water heater.

With all the disciplines in-house, the time for the trade coordination with the Architectural model is reduced as the information in the model can be reviewed and revised simultaneously.
