The Wondrous Brewery is a microbrewery serving downtown Emeryville. The project site consisted of a single story warehouse which was converted into a tasing room, bar, and brewery area.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers provided HVAC, plumbing, and process piping engineering and design for the Wondrous Brewery. Portable water, sanitary, make-up air, and exhaust systems were provided for the tasting room, bar area, and restrooms. A new steam boiler and associated piping system was provided to serve a boil kettle, mash tun, and hot liquor tank. A new glycol chiller and associated piping system was installed to serve a collection of lagering tanks and fermenter tanks.

Through close coordination with the owner, the Alameda County Public Health Department as well as the Emeryville Building Department, Pragmatic Professional Engineers was able to provide the city of Emeryville with a state of the art brewery facility.
