Welcoming Our Newest Team Members (Q3 2023)

As the leaves turn and fall sets in, we're thrilled to announce three new additions to our engineering brigade. Embracing the spirit of the season, our trio of talent is ready to dive into our engineering projects with zest and zeal.

Christian Figueroa - Team Member, Fire Protection

Christian is a mechanical engineer with over 10 years of experience, where the last 6 years have been in the fire protection industry. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. Before working in the fire protection industry, he used to troubleshoot avionics in helicopters and airplanes. He enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, like fishing and hiking. He also enjoys having a good conversation with friends and working with cars.

Leland Mika - Team Member, Electrical

Leland has recently joined the electrical team as an electrical engineer. He graduated from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo in 2022 and is working towards taking the FE exam so he can help the team as an EIT. In his free time, Leland spends his time creating art, playing board games with friends, and making home cooked food.

Kody Root - Engineering Apprentice

Kody joined Pragmatic PE in September of 2023 as part of the Engineering Apprenticeship program. He's married and has two dogs- a German Shepherd and a Doberman. In his free time, he enjoys doing community service with his church, fishing/hunting, and playing sports.
