Faced with widespread plumbing system failures common in mid-century residential towers, the AOAO Atkinson Tower board took proactive steps to ensure long-term reliability and safety for residents. 

Scope of Work

Pragmatic PE delivered a comprehensive plan-and-spec plumbing engineering package to recapitalize the sanitary and storm drainage piping systems. Our scope included architectural coordination, permit routing, bid review support, and full construction administration. 

Challenges & Solutions

Working in a fully occupied residential high-rise required careful coordination to minimize disruption and maintain resident safety. We managed this by facilitating clear, ongoing communication with the AOAO and contractor, maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout.
