Project Description

This building is used by Autodesk as a space to highlight products as well as host company events. The space includes galleries, exhibit spaces, conference rooms, and a large tech talk/event space.

Pragmatic Professional Engineers designed a full re-zone and redistribution of ductwork using cooling only VAV terminal units for interior zones and hot water re-heat VAV terminal units for exterior zones and conference rooms. The design also includes a new chilled water VRF system to be used during company events during nonbusiness hours.

All HVAC systems were modeled with 3D BIM software. Clash detection was performed in the cloud allowing easy coordination between all involved trades and mitigating conflicts in the field.
