Overview

This AI-driven data center in San Jose, California, is built to support high-performance computing and mission-critical infrastructure. With a focus on operational efficiency and sustainability, the facility integrates advanced mechanical and electrical systems.

Contribution

Pragmatic PE provided full commissioning services for HVAC, lighting controls, and plumbing systems. Our work ensured all systems were tested, optimized, and validated for reliable performance prior to occupancy.

Challenges and Solutions

  • HVAC Systems: Included a dedicated outside air system (DOAS), dual-circuit high-efficiency chillers, VRF systems, and exhaust fans. We conducted detailed functional testing to ensure all components operated seamlessly.

  • Electrical Systems: Completed full-scale load testing and verified the redundancy of backup power systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.

  • Controls and BMS: Commissioned an integrated Building Management System (BMS) to provide real-time monitoring, control, and performance optimization.
