Project Description

Pragmatic PE provided commissioning services for a strategic facility swap and remodel at Jane L. Stanford Middle School in Palo Alto, CA. This innovative project repurposed the original administration building into a new, modern library and transformed the former library into an updated administration space—with a newly constructed addition.

Our commissioning scope included ensuring optimal performance across a diverse mix of systems: Wattstopper lighting controls, Mitsubishi VRF systems integrated with Pelican Wireless, Carrier packaged rooftop units, high-wall split systems, exhaust fans, and electric water heaters.

The combination of advanced lighting controls and efficient HVAC systems positions the facility for lower operational costs and improved comfort. More importantly, these upgrades contribute to a better learning and working environment for students and staff alike—supporting the district's mission of forward-thinking, sustainable education infrastructure.
