Project Description

Advanced Linen Service, a leader in industrial laundry, partnered with Pragmatic PE to strengthen its steam system infrastructure, targeting efficiency and cost-effectiveness across operations. 

Scope of Work 

Pragmatic PE developed detailed as-built Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and executed a full evaluation of the existing gas-fired steam boiler system. The project focused on capturing existing conditions and diagnosing inefficiencies to inform future upgrades. 

Challenges & Solutions 

The facility faced aging infrastructure and inconsistent steam delivery, limiting energy performance. PPE’s due diligence report highlighted critical system bottlenecks and outdated controls. Through strategic, practical recommendations—including targeted upgrades and operational improvements—PPE delivered an actionable roadmap tailored to the client’s performance and budget goals. 

Results & Impact 

The resulting feasibility report laid the foundation for smarter capital planning. Our insights provided a clear path to reduced energy consumption, enhanced system control, and long-term cost savings—building client confidence in the facility’s future potential.
